Vanessa, the designer behind Lella Boutique, grew up surrounded by quilting, joining her mother on trips to quilt shops and watching fabric, patterns, and the hum of a sewing machine fill their home. She made her first quilt as a teenager, but it wasn’t until she was expecting her first child that she returned to quilting and fell in love with it all over again.
In 2010, Vanessa launched Lella Boutique, where she has since published dozens of quilt and sewing patterns and authored two bestselling books. Drawn to the timeless beauty of Moda fabrics, she began designing fabric collections for Moda in 2013. Vanessa lives in southern Utah with her family, including her two favorite creations, Olive and Lorenzo, who keep life creative and full of joy.
