Wendy Sheppard is an internationally published quilt designer and author known for her fresh approach to traditional quilting. Originally from Southeast Asia, she discovered quilting in her early 30s and quickly fell in love with the craft. Today, Wendy enjoys every aspect of quilting, especially sharing the joy of needle and thread with others.
Her quilt designs have appeared in leading quilting publications in the United States, Australia, the UK, and France. Wendy is the author of four quilting books with Landauer Publishing, including Recreating Antique Quilts, a Benjamin Franklin Award silver medal winner, and Stitching Pathways, a Foreword Indies Silver Medal winner. She is also an online machine quilting instructor with Annie’s and a designer for Aurifil, where she curates custom thread collections. Wendy lives in northern Virginia with her family.
