Lisa Bongean is known worldwide for her primitive quilting style and calls Larsen, Wisconsin home, just outside Oshkosh. From there, she leads Primitive Gatherings, where she designs traditional and folk-art quilts, wool appliqué, and hand-stitching, along with creating hand-dyed wools, homespuns, and reproduction fabrics.

A designer, shop owner, award-winning quilter, and acclaimed teacher, Lisa runs Primitive Gatherings alongside her husband, Nick, while raising their three sons.
