Collection Details

Dimples by Gail Kessler is one of those go-to textures that fills a lot of gaps.

The print has a soft dotted look, almost like a worn surface, so it adds depth without reading as a busy pattern. It blends in, but it does not disappear. The range of colors is where it really works. From light creams and soft tans to deep tones and bright colors, it gives you options no matter what you are pairing it with.

This is the kind of fabric you use to tie a quilt together. Good for backgrounds, borders, or breaking up stronger prints when things start to feel too heavy.

Gail Kessler

Gail brings a rare blend of city polish and country roots to her fabric designs. She spent years balancing life between New York City’s fashion district during the week and her farm and quilt shop, Ladyfingers Sewing Studio, in Pennsylvania’s historic Oley Valley on the weekends. That contrast shaped a design style that feels both refined and grounded.

As a fabric designer, shop owner, and quilting instructor, Gail has built a reputation for work that is thoughtful, practical, and visually distinctive. She also served as Marketing Director for Andover Fabrics, giving her a deep understanding of the industry from both the creative and business side.

Her quilts and designs have appeared in numerous publications, and she has been featured on QNNTV and Fons and Porter’s Love of Quilting. Today, she teaches quilters around the country through Craftsy, sharing techniques and encouraging others to develop their own style
