It's time for our FIRST EVER Quiltworx Technique of the Month - Arcadia!
Start your Quiltworx Arcadia journey with confidence during this 5-day immersive in-store retreat designed to not only prepare you for success for our 2027 monthly Technique of the Month classes but also get you started on the quilt itself. We are offering FOUR different retreats. So call your quilty friends and coordinate which one you will attend.

One of the biggest challenges in any large Quiltworx project is organization. During this retreat, you'll join other Arcadia quilters as Vida Anderson, Quiltworx Certified Instructor guides you through the process of preparing papers, sort fabrics, cut units and label components for the first unit group of your Arcadia quilt. This retreat is designed to teach you how to create a project management system that makes monthly construction smooth and enjoyable and ensure you complete the quilt.

- How to prepare and organize Arcadia foundation papers
- Sort and inventory fabrics for your chosen colorway
- Cut and label fabric units according to Quiltworx techniques
- Learn best practices for managing a large Quiltworx project
- Begin your Arcadia quilt starting with the outer border
What Is Included
- Instruction and guidance from a Quiltworx Certified Instructor
- Morning snack, Lunch and Afternoon Snack Daily
- Participants will set up their sewing space on the first day and then you can leave everything each night so you can begin afresh the next day
- Instruction will take place between 10 am and 4 pm daily, but participants are welcome to stay and sew until 7 pm each night and Vida will be on hand to help you along
- Retreat cost also includes 9 monthly Arcadia in person classes the first Saturday of each month from April 2027 thru January PLUS access to all the videos for the classes.
Patterns And Kits
Patterns and Kits are sold separately and participants in the retreats will have first access to selecting their kits from the official colorways from Quiltworx as well as The Quilt Shop colorways created by Vida.

This is your $50 Non-Refundable Deposit to guarantee your space at retreat!
$400 Retreat Balance will be invoiced in monthly installments with balance due 30 days prior to the retreat.

Once your seat is reserved, you will be able to choose and reserve your kits and patterns.
Cost of Kits And Patterns
Kits and patterns vary depending on which size your choose and fabric line costs.
*Arcadia Wall Size Pattern - 80" x 80" $145.00
*Arcadia Queen Size Pattern - 99" x 99" $190.00
Fabric Kits will range in price from $355 - $520+ (custom kits may cost more or less)
*Applique' is optional for all the patterns and laser cut applique' may be purchased separately.
PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING:
This listing is for an In-Store Retreat. Lodging is not included. Cost of the retreat also includes the monthly classes and access to password protected videos throughout the completion of the quilt. Pattern, foundation papers, fabric kit and optional applique' are not included.
