Aster Trails Quilt

Join Sharon in the classroom for some Kansas Troubles fun while making Aster Trails.

The Aster Trails Quilt Pattern by It’s Sew Emma features sawtooth star blocks, forming a radiant display of stars in vibrant fall colors. With three size options available and fat quarter-friendly, this quilt is the ideal project to bring autumn warmth into your home. The Aster Trails Quilt features the Quail Run Collection by Kansas Troubles for Moda Fabrics.

This beginner-friendly project that plays with negative space and the versatility of traditional quilt blocks for a radiant display of sawtooth stars. The rich colors we know and love from Kansas Troubles Quilters are paired with trailing vines, berries, and geometrics in their Quail Run Collection, adding the perfect touch of depth and movement to this dynamic quilt pattern!

This pattern can also be made using Triangles On a Roll – please call the shop and speak to Vida regarding using this option during the class.

Aster Trails Quilt Pattern – a copy of the pattern is reserved for each student

Finished quilt size options include:

Small Lap - 48.5" x 48.5"     (classroom sample quilt)
Large Lap - 72.5" x 72.5"
Queen - 96.5" x 96.5"

Fabric requirements for your chosen quilt size. The Quilt Shop at Linda Marie’s carries the full line of Kansas Trouble Quail Run used in the cover and sample quilt.

Please bring the following to class:

• Sewing machine in good working order

• Rotary cutter

• Quilting Ruler(s) - check pattern for specifics

• Personal cutting mat

• Quarter Inch Foot or Quarter Inch Tape for your machine

• Fabric marking pen or pencil

• Thread

• Snips

• Seam ripper

All supplies are available in the shop if needed and don’t forget you receive 20% on additional class supplies. Participants should bring a sack lunch. Coffee, tea and water as well as snacks are provided during our classes. We will take a break for lunch and there are nearby options for lunch.
