Join us for a cozy and beginner friendly class where texture, softness and creativity take center stage. Cozy & Frayed will teach you how to create a classic rag quilt using flannel fabrics, perfect for gifts, home decor or snuggling up on chilly days.

Dates: September 17 and 24 

Time:  10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Instructor: Sharon Southerland

Sharon has been the inspiration for the quilt shop since its inception and loves teaching and connecting with our customers and students more than anything. She is a wonderful quilter, patient teacher, fun to spend time with and a joy to learn from. Taking a class with Sharon is sure to inspire you.

  • Assemble and sew a traditional rag quilt

  • Learn tips for clean seams and easy construction

By the end of class, you’ll have a solid start on your rag quilt and the confidence to finish it at home.

All supplies are available in the shop if needed and don’t forget you receive 20% on additional class supplies.

Participants should bring a sack lunch. Coffee, tea and water as well as snacks are provided during our classes. We will take a break for lunch and there are nearby options for lunch.

We strive to offer the best in quilting education here at The Quilt Shop at Linda Marie’s and we look forward to having you join us in our classes, workshops and retreats! Here is some helpful information about registering for our classes:

We would love to hold a seat for you! This can be done in person or over the phone. Held reservations will be invoiced via email 37 days prior to the class date. Unpaid reservations will be released at 30 days. Our classes fill quickly so don’t delay in getting your paid confirmed registrations in as quickly as possible to ensure your seat.

Cancellations outside of 30 days from the class date will be fully refunded.

Cancellations within 30 days will be issued a store credit.

Cancellations within 7 days and no-shows do not qualify for store credit or refunds.

If WE have to cancel a class for any reason participants will be issued a full refund for the class fees.

Sales on patterns and kits associated with a class are final.
