Join Kim Fedora of Cozy Creations and learn the art of making a bargello quilt! Double Spectrum is Kim’s own design.
Bargello quilts are stunning, optical-illusion patchwork projects made from straight strips of fabric that create the mesmerizing appearance of flowing waves, flames, or curves in motion. Did you know the technique takes its name from 17th-century Bargello needlepoint embroidery (punto unghero or Hungarian point) found on chairs in the Bargello Palace in Florence, Italy? Quilters have adapted the mathematical, stepped-stitch motifs into fabric by sewing long strips together and cross-cutting them to offset the rows.
Kim’s Double Spectrum is a stunning bargello design and she’s already done all the math for you!

Kits: This class is a kit required class and kits have been prepared in the same fabrics used in the shop sample. Your kit also includes the pattern. Price: $165.99 each

Pattern calls for 1/4 yard by WOF of 20 different red, yellow, orange fabrics as well as 20 different blue, green and purple fabrics. Fabric need to range in color intensity from light to dark.
Kits are available in the colorway of the shop sample.

All supplies are available in the shop if needed and don’t forget you receive 20% on additional class supplies.
Participants should bring a sack lunch. Coffee, tea and water as well as snacks are provided during our classes. We will take a break for lunch and there are nearby options for lunch.

We would love to hold a seat for you! This can be done in person or over the phone. Held reservations will be invoiced via email 37 days prior to the class date. Unpaid reservations will be released at 30 days. Our classes fill quickly so don’t delay in getting your paid confirmed registrations in as quickly as possible to ensure your seat.
Cancellations outside of 30 days from the class date will be fully refunded.
Cancellations within 30 days will be issued a store credit.
Cancellations within 7 days and no-shows do not qualify for store credit or refunds.
If WE have to cancel a class for any reason participants will be issued a full refund for the class fees.
Sales on patterns and kits associated with a class are final.
