Learn to Quiltworx - Prismatic Star Retreat

If you are ready to take your Quiltworx skills a step further, Prismatic Star is a great next project. 

This quilt walks you through Judy Niemeyer’s approach to building a lone star using 2.5 inch strips. The process is more approachable than it looks, especially when working with a coordinated strip set that helps create that smooth ombre effect across the star.

Join Quiltworx Certified Instructor Vida Anderson for this three day in-store retreat and she will guide you through each step so you can understand how everything comes together and feel confident as the quilt takes shape.

Retreat Dates: August 27 through August 29

or October 28 through 30

Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM each day

Teaching time runs from 10:00 - 3:00 but participants are welcome to stay and sew until 7:00 pm during our retreats.

Retreats at Linda Marie's include morning and afternoon snacks as well as lunch. And of course we are well stocked on coffee, tea, water and soda selections.

Instructor

Vida Anderson serves as the education coordinator here at The Quilt Shop at Linda Marie’s. She is a Quiltworx certified instructor, professional longarm quilter, and experienced educator. She brings a steady approach that helps break down more detailed patterns into clear, manageable steps.

• Repositionable glue stick
• 50 wt thread
• Snips
• Seam ripper
