Vida will guide you through the process step by step so you can understand how Quiltworx patterns come together and feel confident as you go. This is a good class to build a strong foundation before moving into larger projects.

Vida Anderson serves as the education coordinator here at The Quilt Shop at Linda Marie’s. She is a Quiltworx certified instructor, professional longarm quilter, and experienced educator. She brings a steady approach that helps break down detailed projects into clear steps.
If you would like Vida to prepare a personalized kit for the class she just needs to know style or color preference for the fabric in the kit and she'll curate it just for you.
If you prefer to bring your own fabrics to make this project, you will need the following:
(strips are by the width of fabric (WOF))
Background Fabric: 2) 9" strips
Main Fabric A (dark): 1) 9" strip
Main Fabric B (light): 1) 9" strip

- Sewing machine in good working order
- Rotary cutter
- Add-A-Quarter ruler
- Fabric glue stick
- Repositionable glue stick
- 50 wt thread
- Snips
- Seam ripper

- Tracing wheel
- Cutter Pillar light table
Vida will be demonstrating these recommended tools during class and you may purchase them at that time.

Participants should bring a sack lunch. Coffee, tea and water as well as snacks are provided during our classes. We will take a break for lunch and there are nearby options for lunch.
