Anna Maria Horner

Anna Maria grew up surrounded by art, handmade textiles, and a deep love of fabric, spending weekends in fabric shops with her mom and sister and creating her earliest designs from scrap baskets at home. She earned an honors BFA in Drawing from the University of Tennessee and began her creative career designing and sewing handmade clothing.

In 2005, she debuted her first fabric collection with FreeSpirit Fabrics, quickly becoming known for her energetic color and nostalgic yet fresh style. Today, she is the Lead Artist and Design Director of Anna Maria Textiles, a division of Northcott, and continues to design fabric and publish sewing and quilting patterns for makers worldwide.
